For week 49 of #52weeksofgiving, LeMay Family Goodworks is thrilled to sponsor the Gift of Lights at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway! The Gift of Lights has been helping create family memories for over a decade and is a highlight of the Speedway’s annual charitable events. Event organizers anticipate 15,000+ carloads of families throughout the region to drive the 2.5-mile route of holiday lights this year.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the New Hampshire Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities (SCCNH), which supports organizations committed to helping children in need throughout New England.

What is the Gift of Lights?
Described on the event site as “an incredible drive-thru holiday experience filled with magic and wonder,” this year marks the 12th annual Gift of Lights at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. This year, the event runs from November 24, 2022 (Thanksgiving) through January 1, 2023 (New Year’s Day). It opens nightly at 4:30 p.m., weather dependent.
Attending families enjoy more than 3.5 million twinkly LED lights! This year’s display will feature a 150-foot RGB Tunnel of Lights, arches, toys, numerous scenes like the popular 12 Days of Christmas, and much more. Crews worked over 650 hours setting up more than 520 displays and 80 different scenes! This includes the beloved 130-foot-long infield entrance and exit tunnels with over 25,000 lights.
Additionally, attendees can roast marshmallows and toast s’mores over open fire pits on Thursday through Sunday evenings. S’more kits will be available for purchase and benefit the SCCNH. A food truck will also be open Thursday through Sunday evenings.
And for those who want to get actively involved, there is the Yule Light Up the Night on Sunday, December 11th! Registrations for this 2.1-mile run/walk through the dazzling Gift of Lights also benefit the SCCNH.
About the NH Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities
Besides being a memorable family experience, the Gift of Lights is so special because it helps the community by supporting SCCNH!
As the New Hampshire Motor Speedway’s official charity, SCCNH hosts events and promotions organized around race weeks and activities at the Loudon-based Speedway, plus events throughout New England.
SCCNH has distributed more than $1.9 million in grants since its founding in 2009, helping more than 882,000 children in the region.
Last December, SCCNH gave away $130,000 to worthy charities at their grant distribution ceremony at the Palace Theater! Some of the 2021 recipients included Best Buddies International, New Hampshire Food Bank, Waypoint, and many other incredible organizations throughout New Hampshire, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
