We are dedicated to supporting local charities that lift our community, fight for change and care for those in need.

Many associate charity with having deep pockets, but we believe that giving doesn’t have to mean money! We can give in the form of time and acts of kindness. LeMay Family Goodworks aims to inspire others to think differently about giving back and doing good wherever they are.

Michelle LeMay created LeMay Family Goodworks in 2020 as our charitable efforts grew. Today, we focus on establishing a presence in local communities and other areas we regularly visit, including New Hampshire, Boston, Nantucket, and Boca Raton. We love finding ways to make a difference wherever we are by giving our time.

Our charitable organization supports, protects, and defends veterans, children, and families in an effort to promote overall mental and physical well-being in our communities near and far.

We are boots on the ground. We identify a need, we plan, we execute, we deliver. We lead with kindness and by example. We teach that time is giving, and everyone has time to give.

We succeed when our giving becomes abundant, contagious, and intentional.

We love inviting friends, family, and colleagues to join us and gain a new perspective on what it means to give back and do good in their communities. Everyone who joins us leaves with a smile and a full heart.

Inspired by the #GivingTuesday movement, which takes place on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, we decided to make our own commitment to weekly random acts of kindness every Tuesday! Through our #52weeksofgiving project, we’ve assessed the many needs and organizations and supported what speaks to us.

LeMay Family Goodworks invites other organizations, corporations, and like-minded foundations looking for ways to give back to reach out and work with us. We are happy to guide you on amplifying the power of giving and show you the lasting impression it leaves!

Michelle’s Story

Born and raised in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, I have spent the last 25+ years on the New Hampshire Seacoast. Fun fact: I am a dual citizen of Canada!

After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 2003, I was fortunate to receive treatment and guidance from Dr. Maria Houtchens at Brigham & Women’s in Boston. After a long, challenging road, Dr. Houtchens gave me the most wonderful news: My MS had taken a benign course, and I could expect to remain relapse-free with little to no disease progression!

Dr. Houtchens then introduced me to the Ann Romney Center for Neurologic Diseases (ARCND). Ann Romney’s impact and mindset sparked my passion for nonprofit work, and I soon joined the advisory board.

In addition to Ann Romney Center for Neurologic Diseases, I serve:

On the Patrol Base Abbate advisory board
Continually with several organizations, including the Joey Logano Foundation, Veterans Count, Gather, and the Chase Home
As a Big Sister to a six-year-old girl through Big Brothers Big Sisters — I’m excited to watch her grow up!

I reside with my children at Le Beau Domaine, our family’s 60-acre farm estate in North Hampton, NH. We raise beef cows, alpacas, goats, poultry, and ducks. Other property activity includes beekeeping, maple syrup production, mushroom farming, and year-round greenhouse operations. We enjoy horseback riding, hunting, and fishing in our trout pond.

In addition to our farming activities, we host charitable events and farm-to-table dinners. From benefit galas to kids’ farm tours and activities, we share our space and time supporting organizations with whom we’ve built long-lasting relationships. We often donate our products, such as the alpaca yarn we gave to a children’s home for knitting classes.

My favorite part of this work (which never really feels like work!) is shifting people’s perspectives, so they understand that you don’t have to have a lot of money to give back. Many forms of giving don’t cost anything — there is incredible value in giving your time and small acts of kindness!
