Week 50 of #52weeksofgiving - The Greg Hill Foundation Jingle All the Way 5K

In light of the recent Jingle All the Way 5K, we are highlighting the Greg Hill Foundation for week 50 of #52weeksofgiving! LeMay Family Goodworks was pleased to sponsor the race for the second year in a row and support the foundation’s efforts to assist families that have been recently touched by tragedy.

This year’s runners included our very own Beau, Hannah, Hayley, Will, Nicole, Frank, Jason, Amie, Kaden, Jenn, and Mila. We all donned our ugliest sweaters and holiday outfits, winter hats, and gloves to run and cheer one another on at Cisco Brewers in Portsmouth, NH.

Afterward, everyone enjoyed a post-race celebration during the Snow Ball, which featured live bands, delicious food, and amazing drinks at Cisco’s Winter Wonderland. The best-dressed runners even won prizes!

We’d like to give a shoutout to all participants, sponsors, and Cisco Brewers for another wonderful event! It was a blast gathering on this chilly day for a great cause.

About the Greg Hill Foundation

Radio personality Greg Hill formed the foundation in 2010 to celebrate 20 years on the air at Boston’s WAAF. Inspired by the communities that had supported his radio show, Greg decided to create a nonprofit to harness his incredibly generous media audience and help those who have experienced a recent tragedy.

Nearly 13 years later, the Greg Hill Foundation continues its mission of responding to immediate requests for assistance to improve the lives of local families touched by tragedy. It does this by matching the charitable donation of Greg’s media audience.

Based in Woburn, MA, the Greg Hill Foundation provides assistance to New England residents in need of immediate support. The foundation invites people to nominate a beneficiary—whether a friend, family member, neighbor, or coworker who has incurred a recent tragedy. This could be an individual or a family.

To date, the Massachusetts charity has helped 8,748 beneficiaries and donated $15,537,483! Much of this is thanks to the nonprofit’s generous donors and sponsors.
