Celebrating NH Gives 2024 All Week Long
NH Gives begins tomorrow, June 11th, and LeMay Family Goodworks is excited to participate by supporting several New Hampshire organizations this week!
We’ve selected four organizations—all new to us—to highlight and donate to during the 24-hour NH Gives event. That’s one for each of our four pillars: Community, Veterans, Wellness, and Family. Those who have been part of our community for some time may be familiar with our focus and efforts, but if you’re new here, all of our charity work falls within one of these categories.
We recognized our passion for these areas two years into our foundation’s work after carrying out a full year of our #52weekskofgiving project and analyzing the data. Through those first two years, we learned what is meaningful to our family and where we made the most significant impact. This helped us hone in on our mission and stay focused and engaged with our communities in the New Hampshire, Boston, and Boca Raton, FL, regions.

What is NH Gives?
This year’s NH Gives starts at 5 p.m. on June 11th and runs until 5 p.m. on June 12th. Whether you’re a New Hampshire nonprofit or simply a local who wants to give back to some of the awe-inspiring organizations throughout the Granite State, NH Gives is a way for all to give back and spread the word!
NH Gives is hosted by the NH Center for Nonprofits and is the state’s largest day of giving. The initiative brings together hundreds of nonprofits and thousands of donors to raise as much money and awareness as possible for the numerous causes served by New Hampshire’s nonprofit sector.
Simply put, it’s 24 hours for us to give back to the organizations that give so much to our communities day in and day out!
Some people even launch fundraisers to raise funds on behalf of their favorite nonprofits. Philanthropic businesses that wish to make an impact may also choose to sponsor NH Gives, helping ensure the campaign’s success and boosting their brand recognition and community dedication. Others provide donation matches and challenges, incentivizing individuals to contribute to their supported nonprofit and matching up to a certain amount.
And of course, you can always find your favorite cause and make a donation you can afford. Every dollar helps!
