Kicking Off SABR TOPSoccer’s Winter Season - Boca Raton, FL
We recently visited Boca Raton, FL, to join SABR TOPSoccer once again for their winter season kickoff! Fifteen LeMay Family Goodworks family and friends joined us to help out on the first day of this nine-week program. Beau, Vera, Jameson, Isabelle, and Kaden enjoyed participating in drills with the young athletes. Everyone enjoyed some fun in the sun!
Thank you to our good friend Tim Frost for introducing us to SABR TOPSoccer last year. They currently have 138 kids participating in their amazing program! We appreciate all the advice from the program director and coaches as we get our own TOPSoccer program off the ground here in the New Hampshire Seacoast.

What is SABR TOPSoccer?
TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a US Youth Soccer program on a mission to provide youth athletes with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities the opportunity to play soccer.
The leisurely environment allows participants to enjoy modified gameplay while working closely with an assigned Buddy. Buddies (typically teenagers) assist players at practices and games while cheering them on. They not only earn community service hours but a feeling of accomplishment after watching their players succeed.
In addition to learning a new sport, players improve their social and teamwork skills, confidence, and perseverance. And of course, they gain lifelong friendships with their Buddies and teammates along the way!
SABR (Soccer Association of Boca Raton) was one of the first US Youth Soccer Clubs to establish a TOPSoccer program back in 2001. Since then, they have championed this community-based training and participation program and assisted the Florida Youth Soccer Association in launching programs with clubs throughout the state. SABR has also advised and supported clubs nationwide as they adopt their own TOPSoccer programs.
