Week 10 of #52weeksofgiving

Today is International Women’s Day. International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.

Michelle and team with the help of Gather were trying to find a home for a “like new” refrigerator and Gather brought New Generations to our attention.

New Generation provides emergency and transitional housing as well as aftercare services to pregnant women, single mothers and their children who are experiencing or transitioning out of homelessness.

There are currently 7 mothers and 21 children in the house. Through the work of New Generations these mothers and children are able to escape environments of violence, substance use and life on the streets. Mothers are connected to stable employment and affordable housing. Children are able to be raised in the supportive, safe and healthy environment of New Generations.

Thank you New Generations for helping these women and children to feel and become stronger. Week 10 done and we are smiling!

New Generations has many different ways to volunteer and show your support including Amazon Smile, Thrift Shop Donations and Monetary donations. To learn more go to https://www.newgennh.org
