Bring Back the Trades: Supporting Education for Trade School Students

With the holiday season upon us, Michelle along with her family and the rest of the LeMay Family Goodworks team found ourselves reflecting on the year’s achievements and the meaningful partnerships that have contributed to our success. This includes the numerous contractors who have helped transform LeBeau Domaine into a stunning, special estate that Michelle and her loved ones can cherish and enjoy for years to come!

As a gift to each of these incredible professionals, we were excited to make a donation to Bring Back the Trades as their first-ever Spotlight Sponsor. The LFG team is proud to partner with BBTT in their mission to fund scholarships for trade school students and provide additional opportunities for those entering the trades.

About Bring Back the Trades

Based in Rye, NH, BBTT supports trade students nationwide. The organization believes in the importance of skilled trades as essential career choices for students. They aim to equip post-secondary students with scholarships to pursue professional trades through U.S.-based trade schools. To date, they have proudly awarded over 30 scholarships to qualified students. These include aspiring professionals in the following career paths:

  • Construction (e.g., carpenter, electrician, plumber, HVAC technician)

  • Transportation (e.g., automotive service technician, bus operator, train operator)

  • Manufacturing (e.g., welder, machinist, metal fabricator)

  • Service (e.g., nursing assistant, chef/baker, hairdresser)

Beyond scholarships, BBTT organizes community events and trade exhibitions to educate and unite local communities, fostering respect and awareness for the significance of all trades. Through collaboration with educators, community leaders, and trade vendors, they actively work to transform perceptions of the trades within the education system.

At the heart of their dedication lies the mission to bring together trade vendors, subcontractors, schools, parents, and students to ensure that society values tradespeople and opportunities for rewarding careers in the trades abound.

We feel that BBTT’s efforts and mission align beautifully with our new Charity Connect Partnership Network. Through this initiative, we invite local businesses, contractors, and service providers to join us in our mission. Together, we aim to identify and recognize these entities that share our commitment to ensuring fair rates and support for charitable causes. Together, we can make a difference!
